XAUUSD Gold Internal Structure Analysis

The chart shows that after an aggressive downtrend starting from the 5,160 level, the market is experiencing a 'Market Structure Shift' (MSS). Following a deep liquidity sweep at the 4,120 level, the price has undergone a change of character (CHoCH), evolving into an upward structure. The current price action is a re-accumulation towards the 'Premium' zone to fill the massive Fair Value Gaps (FVG) and imbalance areas created by the large decline.

The recent price action has created a new Break of Structure by maintaining its position above the 4,720 resistance. This indicates that buyers are in control and are targeting the 'Buy-Side Liquidity' (BSL) pool around 4,840 as the next target. However, the 5,000 psychological barrier and the main 'Supply Zone' above it remain the most critical resistance area for the long-term direction of the price. In the current uptrend, the Bullish Order Block zone between 4,560 and 4,620 will function as primary support and a 'Discount' buying zone in potential deep corrections. According to ICT concepts, after such a steep rise in price, internal liquidity clearing can be expected; therefore, attention should be paid to the small liquidity gaps around the 4,740 level.
